Thierry Henry has now praised Inter Milan manager Simone Inzaghi, following recent reports of a move to Manchester United.
Erik ten Hag must not be feeling completely confident in his current position at Manchester United.
Yes, United have been winning in recent weeks, but setbacks to Fulham and Manchester City have placed the pressure back on.
Even when United won, their performance was hit-and-miss, which is clearly not sustainable over term if they want to return to the top of the game.
Ten Hag needs to prove himself to Ineos, but right now, the Dutchman will be fighting to keep his position come summer.

Last week, reports stated that United are considering hiring Inter Milan manager Simone Inzaghi.
Last season, Inzaghi led Inter to the Champions League final, where they were narrowly defeated by Manchester City.
Inzaghi is now 15 points clear at the top of Serie A, on the verge of winning the league, and his reputation as a manager is developing.
This season, Inzaghi’s Inter have conceded only 13 league goals and kept 17 clean sheets.
Inzaghi’s defensive record is impressive, and Thierry Henry has praised his approach.
Thierry Henry discusses Simone Inzaghi
Henry was interviewed on Sky Sports on Monday night and asked to name a manager he admires in addition to Pep Guardiola.
The former Arsenal great singled out Inter manager Inzaghi, praising his 3-5-2 or 5-3-2 formation.
Henry feels Inzaghi is the type of manager who can cause other teams in difficulties in knockout games by making his squad strong defensively while still posing a significant threat going forward.
We witnessed that last season, and Henry feels Inzaghi is the type of manager who can cause significant difficulties for Arsenal and Manchester City due to his tactical approach.
“Inzaghi. I’ve been following Inzaghi since he was with Lazio. He was formerly recognized as a man who, if you met him in a cup game, you’d be in danger, as we witnessed with Manchester City suffering against his Inter in that Champions League final with their 3-5-2,” Henry explained. “What I like is with Inzaghi is that he plays with two centre forwards.”
Let’s put it this way. If you are Arsenal or Manchester City, you have so much ball that they occasionally play as a 3-7; if you do not have as much possession, transition will occur. It’s especially difficult when you’re up against a side with wingers that play high and wide. I prefer the 5-3-2 formation; especially if we look at Inter Milan, where you have Barella, Calhanoglu, and Mkhitaryan, three 6s who are capable of playing when the ball is in their possession. Then you have Lautaro Martinez and Marcus Thuram, who will run into the channel if Federico Dimarco, Dumfries, or Darmian do not do it.”
“You can have a look; they scored two goals like that against Juventus away and Milan at home, Thuram gets on his bike, and you have a striker already there. If you play a 5-4-1, as many teams do without possession, with one striker and wingers high and wide, when you hit that ball to the striker, he can only hold it,” he explained.
It remains to be seen whether Inzaghi’s 3-5-2 strategy will work for United, and some fans may be wary of it following the Louis van Gaal era.
Still, Inzaghi has been performing wonders at Inter, and Henry’s praise just adds to the speculation that he may make a huge move soon, potentially to Old Trafford.
