Marcus Rashford, a Nike athlete throughout his career, is finally rewarded with his first signature edition boot, the Nike Air Zoom Mercurial Superfly IX, which features customized elements throughout.
Marcus Rashford, who has been a Nike athlete from the age of eleven, is the only athlete to have received a signature edition boot from the brand, joining Cristiano Ronaldo, Neymar, and Kylian Mbappe.
Rashford debuted the Nike Air Zoom Mercurial Superfly IX in the Manchester Derby, but the footwear has now been formally introduced, displaying all of the specific features that go into its design.
The Nike Air Zoom Mercurial Superfly IX “Marcus Rashford” is available in a crisp white colorway with neon details scattered throughout. The iconic Swoosh is filled with an electric pink, orange, and yellow neon gradient, with a black outline, and it follows the shimmering soleplate.
That colouring also features on a thin band that wraps around the heel, featuring the line “When you believe in yourself, incredible things can happen,” – a phrase that’s close to Rashford’s heart. Rounding off the design, Rashford’s signature “MR” logo is added to the collar.
A woven tracksuit jacket, bottoms, T-shirts, and an exclusive football complete the collection, with minimalistic outlines and layered emblems in black, white, and orange hues.
