Marcus Rashford and Manchester United are going through a difficult season. There is even evidence that the British actor has not spoken with Erik ten Hag since the incident at the end of last month.
According to The Sun, Rashford and coach Ten Hag rarely spoke after the 26-year-old striker was caught in a scandal for attending a party in Belfast and missing training last month.
Rashford was previously seen flying to Northern Ireland to attend a party hosted by a buddy. The Manchester United striker missed training with the rest of the team for unsuitable reasons and was dropped from the FA Cup squad for a match against Newport County a few days later.
Rashford was subsequently fined two weeks’ wages and returned to face Wolves. However, it is now known that Rashford and Ten Hag have been “at each other’s throats” since the events that day.
The above source also confirmed that Ten Hag believed Rashford “tried to deceive the coach” while disclosing his illness, and he was furious, even asking the striker to meet privately to explain his conduct.
And now, many people are apprehensive that the two sides’ relationship has entirely gone down and cannot be saved, especially as the pressure continues to mount on Rashford and Erik ten Hag.
Ten Hag appears to be suffering the most as a result of the current circumstances. Rashford previously agreed to extend his contract with Manchester United for five years at a salary of £300,000 a week after scoring 30 goals last season.
Meanwhile, following a good debut season with Manchester United, where he finished third, Erik ten Hag is facing the club’s worst start in decades.
With only one year left on his contract at the end of this season, let’s see if Sir Jim Ratcliffe can keep Ten Hag on board with another long-term deal. Are not.
There are numerous rumors that Ineos, the firm in charge of Man Utd’s sporting activities, is still unwilling to end its collaboration with Erik ten Hag and is exploring for replacements.
