MANCHESTER UNITED allegedly wants to recruit Gleison Bremer from Juventus this summer. The Red Devils have been keeping an eye on the defender for several months, as Erik ten Hag looks to strengthen his defence.Calciomercato, an Italian publication, reports that they are “preparing an assault” to sign him.
Bremer agreed to a four-and-a-half-year contract extension with Juventus in December. However, the Serie A giants are willing to let him go for the appropriate price. Juventus reportedly wants roughly £60 million for the Brazilian international, and they have made this clear to Manchester United.According to Italian sources, Ten Hag considers Bremer the “most suitable” choice for his side.
Manchester United could accelerate discussions after the end of the Premier League season. Bremer joined Juventus for £45 million from Torino in July 2022 and has since made 68 appearances. He made his senior debut for Brazil two months later, against Ghana.Manchester United are also believed to be interested in signing Frenkie de Jong this summer.
The Red Devils attempted to sign him during the summer of 2022, just after Ten Hag arrived. However, he declined the transfer and chose to remain in Barcelona. De Jong is now willing to leave the La Liga giants, with both United and Chelsea intrigued.
