Magic Johnson Pays Tribute to Yacht Vacation Buddy Samuel L. Jackson on His 75th Birthday

Numerous celebrities, including Magic Johnson, paid tribute to legendary Los Angeles Lakers icon Samuel L. Jackson on his 75th birthday on Thursday. Johnson and Jackson have a reputation for being good vacation friends; the two families frequently take yacht excursions to Europe.

During their European trip in July, the five-time champion and Michael Jordan, a great of the Chicago Bulls, shared some images. Posing with their wives, the three famous individuals were captured in one photo.

Aside from being on vacation together, Johnson and Jackson have a common interest in sports. The wоme𝚗-led entertainment startup “Statement Films” received funding earlier this year, and they have also collaborated on philanthropic projects.

On his 75th birthday, Johnson made sure to honor his close friend appropriately.

“To my dear friend, Samuel L. Jackson—someone I adore, respect, and admire—and to my son, Samuel L. Jackson, I wish you a very happy birthday! We have a lot in common, including a passion for sports and an aptitude for learning and memorization, which we put to use on our yearly European holiday. My big bro is celebrating his birthday!” Johnson announced it via Twitter.

On one occasion, while on vacation, Magic Johnson and Samuel L. Jackson were thought to be “lazy migrants.”

In 2017, Magic Johnson and Samuel L. Jackson visited Forte dei Marmi, Italy, on one of their many vacations. Foreign news headlines were somewhat bewildering as a consequence of the journey.

After going shopping in style, the two celebrities sat back and relaxed on a park bench. As time went on, a swarm of admirers formed a queue to capture the moment.

“Yesterday in Forte dei Marmi, Italy, Sam and I were just lounging on a seat. People began to gather in front of us to get our autographs,” Johnson wrote on Twitter.

Even though Johnson was just documenting a happy occasion with his friend, the photos quickly became viral for reasons unrelated to the sentiment. Some Italians thought Johnson and Jackson were “lazy migrants,” The Independent reports. Their anger stemmed from the fact that they had squandered tax dollars.

Two of the most famous entertainers in the world were included in the images, but they had no idea. The mistake in judgment, though, was quickly brought to light.
