Lindsay Lohan and her hubby received a unique gift from Steph Curry during their date night.
Lohan and her husband, Bader Shammas, received an autographed jersey from the Golden State Warriors player following the team’s game on Saturday, February 3.
In a video posted on X, NBC Sports Bay Area captured Curry, Lohan, and Shammas’ post-game moment.
The trio posed side by side for a shot, with the signed shirt prominently displayed. Curry and Lohan exchanged hugs before the NBA star exited the court.
The Warriors fell 134-141 in overtime to the Atlanta Hawks, but Curry scored 60 points in the contest. According to the NBA, Curry’s season high makes him the second player in history to score more than 60 points in a game at age 35 or older, after the late Kobe Bryant.
Shammas posted an up-close look at what Curry wrote on the jersey on his Instagram story, which Lohan re-shared.
Curry’s inscription on the back of his jersey revealed the warm relationship between his and Lohan’s families. In addition to his signature, the Warriors’ point guard sent a personal greeting to the couple’s son, Luai, saying, “Your godparents love you!”
A spokeswoman for Curry confirmed to TODAY.com that he and his wife, Ayesha Curry, are godparents of the actor’s baby, who was born in July 2023.
The “Mean Girls” star also posted a selfie on her Instagram story of herself and Shammas beaming wide for the camera while sitting courtside.
She added a sticker saying “date night” and captioned it, “We love š.”
Lohan and Ayesha both star in the upcoming Netflix rom-com “Irish Wish,” which will premiere on the streaming service on March 15.
Variety reported in September 2022 that Ayesha had joined the ensemble alongside Ed Speleers, Alexander Vlahos, Elizabeth Tan, and Jane Seymour.
According to the Netflix description, the film follows Lohan’s character, Maddie, as she attends a wedding in Ireland between her closest friend and her dream lover. After making a wish on an old stone, she awakens to a surprise: she is the bride-to-be.
The planned film is part of Lohan’s multi-picture contract with Netflix, which was announced in a March 2022 news release. The pact follows her 2022 film “Falling for Christmas” and will include the recently announced “Our Little Secret,” which stars Lohan, Kristin Chenoweth, Tim Meadows, Chris Parnell, and others.
