Klay Thompson arrived at Chase Center in style on Saturday.
The Warriors’ sharpshooter entered the garage on his bicycle, sporting a red 49ers puffer jacket, ahead of Golden State’s game against the Los Angeles Lakers. Kristin Juszczyk, the wife of 49ers fullback Kyle Juszczyk, created the personalized design.
“Niner gang!” Thompson shouted as he arrived. “You guys know what time it is. Niner Faithful. Look at this! A little beautiful collaboration. Dubs-Niners. “C’mon now.”
Juszczyk’s designs have recently taken the sports world by storm, with personalized pieces created for international music singer Taylor Swift, actor Taylor Lautner, and 49ers wide receiver Deebo Samuel, among others.
She is also apparently in talks with the NFL about turning her unique designs into official league apparel.
Juszczyk shared her delight at Thompson wearing her design by commenting on a video of the Warriors star in it.
“LET’S GO!!!” Juszczyk wrote about Instragm. “Thank you for your support!!! “Do it for the Bay!” with two clapping emoji.
Thompson’s support comes at an ideal time, as the 49ers prepare to face the Detroit Lions in their third consecutive NFC Championship Game on Sunday at Levi’s Stadium, with the goal of reaching Super Bowl LVIII.
Several 49ers players have been photographed sitting courtside at Warriors games, including Brock Purdy, George Kittle, and Samuel. It was only natural for Thompson to repay the favor.
