To commemorate Manchester City’s historic treble-winning season, Kevin De Bruyne presented his teammates with specially manufactured platinum iPhones.

Before the current Premier League season began, the Belgian sensation handed out 26 specially commissioned phones worth £5,000.

At a surprise ceremony on Thursday, De Bruyne unveiled the luxurious pieces designed by iDesign Gold, a global leader in custom mobile design.

The case was prompted by Lionel Messi’s earlier this year presentation of 35 24-carat gold iPhones worth £175,000 to the Argentina World Cup winning team and staff.

In response to De Bruyne’s offer, Pep Guardiola’s team is in talks to cement a collaboration to create personalized, one-of-a-kind iPhones.

iDesign Gold’s customization function enables users to exhibit their distinct style and preferences by designing personalized devices that perfectly fit with the newest trends.

‘I’ve been working with IDG for a few years,’ the 32-year-old explained. “And I really admire their limited edition phones; they’re like works of art!”

In 2022-23, City became the second English side to win the Premier League, Champions League, and FA Cup, making it the finest season in the club’s 129-year history.

The midfield ace arranged for all of the players, including Guardiola and owner Sheik Mansour, to receive an iPhone 14 with their name and club emblem engraved on the case.
