Now, before United’s first encounter in 2023, United has revealed on their official website that Garnacho is the newest recipient of the Player of the Month accolade, having won it in November.

Each month, the supporters choose the winner, with Garnacho defeating Jonny Evans and Kobbie Mainoo with 64% of the vote.

Garnacho was directly involved in four goals in December, accounting for more than half of United’s total for the month.

His two goals came on Boxing Day at Aston Villa, where he scored a second-half brace to spark a spectacular comeback against Unai Emery’s team before Rasmus Hojlund scored the winner.
