Congratulations are in order for McKenzie Caldwell-Pope and her husband, two-time NBA champion Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, as they welcome their fourth child, Kendall Raquel Caldwell-Pope, on August 23, 2023.

McKenzie took to Instagram to share a glimpse into Kendall’s first moments as a Caldwell-Pope, posting a carousel of images with the caption “8.23.23.” The photos clearly show the family’s overwhelming joy and love for their newest addition. McKenzie expressed her love and gratitude, saying, “A snapshot of the first forty-eight hours with our precious baby girl.” Kentavious, the 30-year-old shooting guard for the Denver Nuggets, now has four children, including Kentavious Jr., Kendrix, and Kenzo.

Before Kendall’s arrival, the couple enjoyed a Baby Moon in Positano, Italy, which Kentavious documented on social media with the caption, “God commanded you to be fruitful and multiply #babynumber4.”

Many people, including fellow athletes and celebrities, sent their heartfelt wishes to the growing family. Sydel Curry, the sister of Steph Curry, greeted the newborn, saying, “Daryn says hello to twinnnn!” Kyle Kuzma, power forward for the Washingtоn Wizards, exclaimed, “Let’s go!” Kamiah Adams expressed her love, saying, “Kendall Kendall, you are already so loved. Great job, mom!”

Minaa Bentley, the founder of the Minaa Monroe apparel line, shared her excitement, saying, “You finally got your girl! So happy for you all. Congratulations, times two hundred!!!!”

One social media user accurately described Kentavious as a true #girldad. Kentavious and McKenzie have been married since 2016, and their love story began when they met at a club in Dallas, Texas, while Kentavious was in town for a game with the Detroit Pistons. McKenzie shared in a 2017 interview with Brides.com, “After we had a brief conversation, he invited me to watch his game. He explained that he was in town as a player for the Detroit Pistons, which I had no idea about. Since then, we’ve been together ever since that night.”
