It would only have taken one word from Sancho… ‘sorry’.

Despite coaches and teammates’ pleadings, Sancho’s stance remained unwavering until late December, when he refused to apologize to his management for his social media outburst in early September.

Jadon Sancho apologized… to Dortmund
Jadon Sancho appears to know how to say “sorry.” He simply opted not to.

A video posted on Borussia Dortmund’s Instagram page showed Sancho meeting players and staff behind the scenes at the German club.

It contained an incident in which Sancho was chastised by workers for subjecting them to the “latest medical check ever.”

This was due to the fact that Sancho landed in Germany at 10 p.m. on Wednesday night, and Dortmund wanted to complete the medicals as soon as possible in order to announce the deal on Thursday.

Sancho’s response was to apologize for his tardiness. Nobody at Manchester United will miss the irony.

“Sorry guys,” he said, “I’m sorry.”

Erik ten Hag will never believe it.
Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag is probably past caring what Jadon Sancho has to say, but even he might be surprised to hear the word’sorry’ come out of the winger’s mouth.

This was all the 23-year-old needed to do. He could have played for the team over the last few months and would have undoubtedly benefitted. Rasmus Hojlund has been looking for a creative winger.

United will be disappointed that the problem has progressed to this point, but they would not have expected such an immature response from Sancho over the past few months.

Now, with his transfer worth at rock bottom, he’s back at Dortmund, hoping to resurrect his career so that United can sell him without being too ashamed.
