The trendy footballer buys his togs at expensive retailers like Gucci, Givenchy, and Balmain, but you can dress just like the Manchester City star by shopping on the high street for a fraction of the price.
LEROY SANE may have lost out on playing for Germany in the World Cup, but he now has more time to do what he loves… buy!
After another fantastic season with Man City, the 22-year-old winger won the PFA Young Player of the Year award last season.
On the field, he was the pinnacle of style and grace as Manchester City won the Premier League title.
But it was Sane’s outstanding choice of clothing that really wowed us.
Sane frequently showcases his pricey clothing on Instagram, including Gucci, Givenchy, Balmain, Amiri, and Off-White.
But you don’t have to spend a fortune to get his look because we’ve scoured the main street for affordable alternatives.
Downtown
On a night out in Manchester, Sane like to dress casually.
So, even if he’s photographed leaving a high-end hotel, he looks to be dressed casually for the event.
However, his Off-White sweater would have cost him 350 notes.
Sane wore it with a longline T-shirt, Nike Air Jordan high tops, and Balmain biker pants, which cost a whopping £1,450.
BoohooMAN creates a pair of biker jeans that rival Balmain’s.
They’re cut in a skinny fit from light-blue denim, paneled with moto-style embellishments, and ripped at the knees.
Layering is the key to Sane’s effortless style.
Allow a longline top to peek out from behind your sweatshirt and you’re set.
All-black-everything
We dug up an old photo of Sane during his Man City debut in September 2016 to show he’s been elegant from the start.
The then-20-year-old was celebrating a 2-1 victory over Manchester United with his teammates at the upscale Manchester restaurant Sakana.
He stood out in an all-black ensemble that included Amiri pants and a Givenchy sweatshirt with the brand’s trademark insignia.
That would have cost him £1,555 in total, which is quite astounding for such a young athlete.
BoohooMAN has a similar sweatshirt with a similar typography written across the front, however it says “romantic” rather than “Givenchy.”
Still, at £5, it’s a bargain and £655 less than Sane’s. But hurry, it’s going fast.
