Marcelo gave the squad a visit at Real Madrid City before departing for Riyadh for the Spanish Super Cup semi-final versus Atlético (Wednesday, 8pm CET). The Brazilian greeted Ancelotti and the players before wishing them luck for the upcoming challenges in 2024.
The Real Madrid great won the Copa Libertadores and finished second in the Club World Cup with Fluminense after spending 16 seasons with the club and winning 25 titles. After the visit, Marcelo told Realmadrid TV, “This reunion has been fantastic for me.” It’s been about a year since I’ve been here, and I’ve missed my home.”
