JUDE BELLINGHAM was described as “pure class” after making a touching gesture during Real Madrid’s match against Arandina.
Carlo Ancelotti’s LaLiga powers traveled to the fourth-tier side Tuesday for their Copa del Rey tie.
Bellingham, 20, was benched as Real Madrid won 3-1 thanks to goals from Joselu, Brahim Diaz, and Rodrygo.
The England international managed to warm hearts despite the severe cold.
On TV, the midfielder could be seen sitting on the bench, wrapped in blankets.
He then saw that the ballboy in front of him appeared to be shivering and decided to take action.
Bellingham attempted to summon the ballboy, who shyly suggested that he wasn’t permitted to leave his place.
The former Borussia Dortmund player then stood up and wrapped his blanket around the child to keep him warm.
The ballboy told a Spanish reporter that it was his “happiest day” after the game.
When one admirer saw Bellingham’s gesture of compassion, he commented on social media, “what a guy, pure class.”
While another said, “A small gesture that he will never forget.”
A third said, “Not only is he a very good baller, but he’s also a great guy.”
Another person remarked, “Jude is a legend.”
In addition to his wonderful gesture, Bellingham went out of his way before the game to pose for photos and selfies with ecstatic ballkids.
This season, the popular actor has been hailed for his nice gestures.
Last month, he astonished Real Betis players by going out of his way to bring three of his shirts to their locker room in order to accommodate everyone who had requested a shirt swap.
The CIES Football Observatory declared Bellingham, who joined Real Madrid for £115 million last summer, the world’s most valuable footballer this week.
He edged out Erling Haaland for first place, with Real Madrid teammates Vinicius Jr and Rodrygo finishing third and fourth.
