The couple, who have a baby daughter, returned to the United Kingdom to see family for the La Liga winter break, which runs from December 23 to January 3.

“Mason and Harriet have really enjoyed living in Spain,” a source added. They’ve had time and space to enjoy being a young family, and now they’re confronting the challenge of living in a strange nation.

“He’s had a lot of off-the-field issues in his short career, but he finally seems to be addressing them and sorting himself out.”

“He’s made some great friends with his teammates, and Harriet has been warmly welcomed by some of the Wags.” They enjoy going out in Madrid without feeling as if everyone is watching them.”

Greenwood joined the Madrid-based club in September after United declared the previous month that he would no longer play for them.

With Barcelona, Atletico Madrid, and AC Milan all monitoring his progress, his future remains uncertain.

Since joining Getafe in September, the 22-year-old has participated in 15 games, scoring five goals and assisting four others.

Despite managers’ prior assertions that he needed to leave to rebuild his career and that there were no intentions to bring him back, some United fans have called for his return to Old Trafford owing to his performance.
