Before Al-Ittihad’s Boxing Day match against Al-Nassr, former Real Madrid teammates Ronaldo and Benzema exchanged a hug and a short chin wag. Going by their talk before the bout, it was evident that the seasoned pair are on very good terms with one another.

These two players, particularly Ronaldo, are among the best of their generation. They’ve won a slew of trophies and have been teammates at Los Blancos for nine years. They are still proving their worth despite being in the final stages of their individual careers after being among the most high-profile big-name signings to Saudi Arabia.

WHAT COMES NEXT?

Following this match, Al-Nassr will conclude their 2023 season with an away trip to Al-Taawoun on December 30, while Al-Ittihad will play Al-Tai earlier that day. Both are in the top part of the leaderboard and will be looking to finish well in 2024.
