KALVIN PHILLIPS marked Christmas with some heartfelt images taken after his lovely Wag partner gave birth to their child.

Phillips, 28, of Manchester City, paid tribute to childhood sweetheart Ashleigh, 27, as the couple announced the birth of their first child.

The couple did not share the baby’s gender or name.

Phillips, on the other hand, gushed over his new baby in a heartwarming photo montage.

Several photos showed him and Ashleigh holding their newborn barely moments after the delivery.

Phillips had kept the pregnancy a secret until now.

Ashleigh captioned the heartfelt image, “The best gift of all.”

Friends and fans flocked to congratulate the newlyweds.

“Congratulations, Kalvin and Ash!” shouted Man City.

Taylor Ward, Riyad Mahrez’s wife, said, “Amazing congratulations guys.”

“Awww congratulations, beautiful!” one person said.

Another person commented, “The best mummy and daddy.”

Phillips’ new baby may not be his only fresh start this holiday season.

The England midfielder is widely likely to quit City to pursue first-team opportunities elsewhere.

Manchester United are considering a transfer, according to SunSport.

However, a permanent approach is not expected until the summer, leaving Phillips open to secure a loan move in January.

And Italian heavyweights Juventus are the favorites to complete the transfer, with German champions Bayern Munich also expressing interest.
