Sara Arfaoui, the wife of ILKAY GUNDOGAN, has posted several photos from their beautiful wedding day.

Last month, the Manchester City midfielder secretly married his lovely Italian partner ahead to his team’s final Premier League game of the season.

They’ve done their more public ceremony, and Arfaoui has shared some intimate photos on social media.

She captioned the photographs on Instagram, “Still dreaming…. my endless love… S&I.”

The Sun reported in December that Ilkay proposed by adorning a room with red rose bouquets.

In May, the couple married in Rome before Gundogan returned to England for Man City’s crucial match against Aston Villa.

The German midfielder was chastised for flying to Italy just days before his team’s title match.

This prompted Arfaoui to defend her husband by exposing the nature of their visit.

“We’re married,” she said. We are overjoyed.

“We wanted to keep it private but unfortunately after this fake news about my husband I felt forced to say the truth.”

Meanwhile, Gundogan’s future at Manchester City has been called into question.

Following their Premier League title triumph, the 31-year-old declined to guarantee his future with the club.

“We will meet in due course to exchange ideas and plans, and then we will see what happens,” he said.

“The question is whether or not I want to try anything new. I have yet to answer this question for myself.

“Football-wise there is no better place than Manchester City under Pep Guardiola and that will hardly change in the next few years.”

Gundogan’s contract at Manchester City expires at the conclusion of the season.
