Amid Christmas Day Football Excitement, Travis Kelce Gives a Sneak Peek into Festive Celebrations with Taylor Swift

Travis Kelce is in for a wonderful Christmas weekend, whether he gets to spend it with his family or with new love Taylor Swift.

While fans like seeing the high-profile couple publicly show their support, whether it’s at the Kansas City Chiefs tight end’s football games or the ‘Cruel Summer’ singer’s Eras Tour, excitement is building for potential sweet Christmas photos of the couple.

However, the verdict is still pending, as the NFL star is scheduled to play on Christmas Day against the Las Vegas Raiders. Simultaneously, his older brother, Philadelphia Eagles centre Jason Kelce, will be on the field against the New York Giants.

When asked about his Christmas and game day preparations, as well as how the Kelce family, notably mom Donna Kelce, would handle it, Travis said that they still plan to celebrate together, even if it is a day late.

“My brother sent me a text and said he’s going to be celebrating afterwards,” he said.

“It will be a fun one,” he said, adding that “it’s always a luxury playing for Kansas City – home and away,” even if that means a Christmas Day game.

Travis and Taylor were last seen together on Sunday, when the Grammy winner watched the Chiefs beat the Patriots 27-17 from a VIP suite at Gillette Stadium in Massachusetts with her father, Scott Swift.

Though Scott is a native of Pennsylvania and a longtime Philadelphia Eagles fan, Travis admitted to his brother, an Eagles player, that he converted him to the “good side,” a.k.a. the Chiefs fan group, after meeting at one of Taylor’s gigs in Argentina.

Travis joked on a recent episode of their podcast New Heights after Jason mentioned seeing Scott wear a Chiefs lanyard during the concert: “Got him over here to the good side.” Just one by one, getting all the nice ones to come over,” before admitting he “may have persuaded him” during dinner the night before.

He also demonstrated that he is getting to know Scott well, and he impressed his brother by revealing that Mr. Swift was once a football player.

“For those of you who haven’t seen all the videos of me on your TikTok and Instagram feed, I was enjoying myself down there in Buenos Aires,” he finished his genuine glimpse into the extraordinary weekend.

“The show was even more electrifying knowing I had a little bit more to look forward to, and Taylor ripped it, she killed it, and she looked like she was having a good time out there.”
