Manchester City goalkeeper Ederson has inked a lion, an eagle, and gloved hands on his back, adding to his enormous tattoo collection.
Adao Rosa, the artist, released a picture of the finished project on Instagram once it was completed.
A Christ-like figure with angel wings is depicted at the top of the back.
Below is an eagle on the left, a dragon on the right, and goalie hands grabbing a football over a highly detailed representation of a lion’s head.
The 25-year-old appears to be coating his entire body inch by inch.
He already has a rose beneath his ear and a skull around his Adam’s apple. Three female faces appear on his right arm over a sleeve.
His left arm has a name on the bicep and a crown on top. Another tribute to his religious views is the words ‘I belong to Jesus’ etched upon his chest.
Ederson shows no signs of slowing down, and before long he may have tattoos covering the majority of his body.
This season, the City goalkeeper has once again impressed on the field, and he has been an important part of the team’s march towards a historic quadruple.
He kept his 31st clean sheet in all competitions against Fulham on Saturday and is now prepared to face Cardiff on Wednesday.
