After signing a lucrative five-year contract extension with the Los Angeles Lakers, Anthony Davis wasted no time in upgrading his living arrangements. The basketball star recently purchased a stunning mansion for a whopping $32 million, a significant upgrade from his previous property, which he sold for $7.5 million.
Situated in the prestigious Bel Air neighborhood of Los Angeles, the 1,500-square-meter estate sits on 1.4 hectares of land, making it one of the most sought-after properties in California. Over the course of two years, acclaimed designer Lonni Paul meticulously renovated and upgraded Davis’ new home, lending her expertise in creating luxurious interiors for celebrities and billionaires.
The mansion boasts eight bedrooms, twelve bathrooms, and exquisite furnishings. In addition to the essentials, the property features multiple entertainment spaces, including a movie room, wine cellar, game room, and two spacious living rooms. The outdoor area is equally impressive, featuring an Olympic-sized pool, basketball court, two tennis courts, a BBQ area with a bar, two barbecue pits, and ample seating for 20-30 guests. For added convenience, there is also a helicopter landing pad and a vast grassy area suitable for camping or relaxation.
Davis acquired the mansion from a prominent IT and real estate powerhouse, further adding to its prestige. It seems that Davis’ teammate LeBron James, another Lakers player, has also been making real estate moves, having purchased a Beverly Hills home for approximately $37 million just before winning the NBA championship in 2020.
With his new extravagant residence, Anthony Davis has not only secured a luxurious haven but also solidified his commitment to the Los Angeles Lakers for the foreseeable future.
