Scouts from some of Europe’s finest teams, including Barcelona, Bayern Munich, and Real Madrid, are said to have visited Mason Greenwood’s home pitch this season.
In September, Manchester United loaned Greenwood out for the season. He’s been a great hit there, with four goals and three assists in 13 games.
Because of his recent form, 90min believes that Real Madrid, Barcelona, Atletico Madrid, Bayern Munich, and Borussia Dortmund are all keeping an eye on him.
Greenwood does not appear to be a future Manchester United player.
Greenwood will not play for United in August following a protracted internal investigation since they were prioritizing his “welfare, wishes, and perspective.”
As a result, Greenwood’s future will be discussed in the following months. He has the option to extend his contract with United for another year, which extends until 2025.
According to Spanish news agency AS, many Premier League clubs sent scouts to the Estadio Coliseum last month to observe Greenwood play.
While Italian and Turkish clubs expressed interest in Greenwood, no Premier League clubs expressed a wish to sign him this summer.
In answer to media inquiries about a potential arrangement, Getafe President Angel Corres commented, “We have not discussed price.” We discussed looking into the problem and hearing their perspectives because the ownership of Manchester United shares has changed.
Despite this, we continue to enjoy our video chats and meetings with them.
“We have a share and want to buy the rest, but it’s still too early to say whether we will stay for another season or whether they will offer a price at which we will sign the whole contract.”
