Alejandro Garnacho’s kneeling kick against Everton was recently voted “The best goal of November” on the Premier League home page.
Manchester United defeated Everton 3-0 on November 26. Alejandro Garnacho’s goal in the third minute gave the Red Devils a great start to the game.
Garnacho leaned in to hook the ball after Diogo Dalot turned it over, forcing Jordan Pickford to concede.
“Honestly, I can’t believe it,” Garnacho said after his goal. “I don’t know how I scored. I just listened to the crowd and said, ‘Oh my God.’ It’s still November but this is probably one of the best goals of the season.”
No longer a guess, The Premier League organizers have officially voted this goal as “The best goal of November”. This is the second time a Man Utd player has been honored in this category, after Bruno Fernandes’ volley against Burnley in September.
It also gave Man Utd a treble of awards in November, after Harry Maguire was voted Player of the Month, while Erik ten Hag was voted “Best Coach of the Month”.
Garnacho’s goal topped the shortlist of 8 excellent goals in November. In addition, this young talent was also voted “Best Man Utd Player of November”.
