Golden State Warriors star Draymond Green has been handed an indefinite suspension by the NBA following his altercation with Phoenix player Jusuf Nurkic, resulting in his ejection from the game. 

This unprecedented action by the league is due to Green’s history of unsportsmanlike behavior. The NBA stated that Green must fulfill certain conditions set by both the league and the team before he can return to play. Typically, the NBA issues suspensions for a fixed number of games, so an indefinite suspension is highly unusual. 

This incident adds to Green’s list of disciplinary actions, including previous ejections and suspensions throughout his career. While Green apologized to Nurkic, the Phoenix player criticized Green’s behavior and suggested that he needs help. Despite the controversies, Warriors coach Steve Kerr has consistently supported Green, acknowledging his significant contributions to the team’s success over the years.
