Grammy-winning rapper Burna Boy is set to relocate into a seven-bedroom house in Lagos, Nigeria’s commercial and artistic hub, starting in 2020. The two-story Lekki palace was designed by Burna’s architect, Akose Enebeli, to allow Burna to live alone.
When Burna saw Enebeli’s designs for his own new home in the not-too-distant future, he was “mind blown” and had several residences all across the planet. Nigerian rapper, singer, and songwriter Burna is well-known. The man just kept saying, “Wow, wow, you’re bursting my brain,” Enebeli reports to AD.
Enebeli’s masterpiece is a serene 13,000 square foot sanctuary in the heart of the busy Lagos metropolis, which is home to 20 million people. The big building features a serene beige and gray façade and is equipped with all the modern luxury amenities.
There are towering ceilings, lounges, a game area, and a private theater within. There are also lots of garage spaces and large windows.
To maximize natural light, Enebeli and his colleagues separated the 3,700 square foot building into two separate sections.
