Tom Brady’s Hopes for Son Benjamin, 9½, to Share His Love for Sports Like Jack, 11, Prove Challenging: ‘It Was a Difficult Situation for Me’ 🏈👨‍👦

Tom Brady can attest to the fact that children follow the beat of their drummer.

The 42-year-old quarterback for the New England Patriots discussed how his three children differ from one another and, in certain situations, from their father in his September cover story for Men’s Health.

Regarding his oldest child, who turns 12 this month and is with ex-Bridget Moynahan, Brady remarked, “[John “Jack” Edward Thomas] is just like me — he holds a lot in.”

In the meantime, his two children—son Benjamin Rein, nine and a half, and daughter Vivian Lake, six and a half—have different coping mechanisms.

“Benny spills everything. He continued, saying, “Children remain true to who they are. Vivi, she doesn’t care.” “They will be who they are, not who you wish them to be.”

Brady told Men’s Health that Jack “wants to try hard and he never wants to disappoint his dad,” adding that he was the same way as a teenager.

On the weekends, I used to get up early to spend time with my dad. I didn’t party too much because of this. I wanted to be with Dad when he went golfing. And it would break my heart if I ever missed those things,” he remarked.

Brady’s younger kid wasn’t very interested in sports, despite his initial assumption that Benjamin “would be just like Jack”: “I was like, ‘C’mon, let’s do this.” And his response was, “Nope.” And I thought, “What?” Do this instead of that.

Would you effing comprehend that your son is different? Gisele would often ask me. Brady went on to say, “It was difficult for me.” What do you mean? I asked. “He should do all these things that I do; he’s a boy.”

He went on, “The truth is that Benny just has different tastes in things.” And that’s fantastic since all I have to do now is follow his wishes. We have the finest time when we act in such way. “OMG, Dad, you’re so funny,” he exclaims. I joke back, and he loves to joke.
