According to Tom Brady, his son Benjamin has rejected his father in favor of emulating Rob Gronkowski and aspiring to be the NFL’s next great tight end—not a quarterback.
Brady, 46, is a father of three children. His youngest son Benny, 13, is excited to be beginning a football career at the age of 13.
Brady, however, has stated that his kid wants to excel at tight end like his most well-known colleague, Gronk, rather than becoming a superstar quarterback like his father.
Brady said, “I’ve been throwing the ball to him in the backyard because my son is playing football this year, Benny,” on the most recent episode of his SiriusXM podcast, “Let’s Go! with Tom Brady, Larry Fitzgerald, and Jim Gray.”
He’s going to be a little beast who wants to be a tight end like Gronk. He is a gifted young man with many talents. He is a tremendously gifted artist and musician. Then he said to me, “Dad, I’m playing football,” this year. “What do you wanna play?” I asked. Then he said, “Tight end.” I desire to resemble Gronk.
I said to Gronk over SMS, “Hey, my boy wants to be like you!” And he cherished it. .. Last night, my daughter got me kicking the soccer ball while I was playing around in the backyard. And I’m having a great time with this new adventure. Additionally, there is a great deal of life to be lived.
