Adidas is celebrating the tenth anniversary of the adiPURE 11Pro 2 while also commemorating Toni Kroos, the most famous person to wear the boots.
With Real Madrid and Germany, he won four Champions League titles and the World Cup. He’s dressed in an adidas 11Pro design that hasn’t been sold in ten years.
The adiPURE 11Pro 2 was released in a variety of hues in 2013, but it was eventually discontinued to make space for the next shoe in the line. However, Kroos has worn the style every season since then, and the boots have garnered an unintentional cult following as a result of his unwavering devotion to them.
adidas has shown two versions of the 11Pro for the impending limited rerelease: an ultra-limited edition that matches every detail of Kroos’ shoes and a wider release version that looks like the original but has some modern touches added.
The limited-edition Kroos special features the 2009 adiPURE III soleplate and a German flag graphic on the heel. To create the ultimate Kroos replica, the boots will only be available in his size, which is 8.5.
The broader one has the new COPA Pure soleplate without the German flag motif. It retains the re-stitched upper made of incredibly light and soft Taurus leather that adapts to the shape of the foot that made the adiPURE 11Pro 2s so popular.
Stay tuned to adidas channels to get your hands on what is set to become one of the most sought-after football souvenirs ever.
