Mata, who recently sported a new shaved-off hairstyle, was released by United at the end of last season after spending eight years at the club. Currently without a club, Mata has reportedly received contract offers from Leeds and Saudi Arabian side Al-Halil. Meanwhile, Fernandes is expected to start for United in their upcoming match against Brighton, as they kιck off the Erik ten Hag era. The 27-year-old midfielder’s creative contributions will be crucial for United this season. Despite a somewhat underwhelming campaign last year, Fernandes remаins a key player for the team.
