United defeated Everton 3-0 on Sunday to move up to sixth place in the Premier League table.

Garnacho made headlines after only three minutes with an incredible overhead kick that Gary Neville said was better than Wayne Rooney’s famous one against Manchester City.

However, after finishing training on Monday, the 19-year-old Argentina international chose to make the day of one young fan.

A young man named George was waiting for the winger, who stopped his car for a talk and confirmed Neville’s claim by telling him that his goal was better than Rooney’s.

He then showed the South American star a cut-out of his strike, but he was about to receive something even greater in return.

Garnacho then gave George the boots he was wearing for his overhead kick, along with a personalized note and the ace’s signature.

In the wonderfully heartwarming clip, the boy was utterly swept away by his present, struggling to suppress his feelings.

The video quickly went viral on social media, and one fan captioned it, “Alejandro Garnacho, what a guy!”

“This is incredible,” said another admirer.

“Such a wholesome moment,” a another United fan wrote. “It made me cry.”

“I love this,” said another. “My admiration for Garnacho has skyrocketed.” It’s impossible to be a guy who wants to give back to the fans.”

“My starboy is a class act on and off the pitch!” added another.

“A fantastic gesture,” said another fan. Garnacho’s only cost was his time, but little George will never forget that moment.”

That score resulted in Garnacho’s first goal since defeating Crystal Palace in the League Cup on September 26.

Now, when they travel to Galatasaray on Tuesday, both manager Erik ten Hag and the fans will be hoping that the star can work his magic and keep their Champions League hopes alive.

United flies to Turkey knowing that a loss will almost certainly kill their prospects of reaching the knockout stages.
