Real Madrid player Rodrygo Goes has admitted that the club has advised him not to talk about his spat with Lionel Messi.

The two had a spat prior to Brazil’s World Cup qualifying loss against Argentina last week.

Rodrygo was asked about his Messi incident after their Champions League triumph against Napoli, but answered, “I can’t talk about that, Madrid won’t let me.” [laughs]

“It was a great goal, after a play that I really like to make,” Rodrygo said of his goal last night. It’s difficult to outscore [Jude] Bellingham, but we don’t have a rivalry. “We both wish to assist the team.

“I worked when things didn’t go well for me and now that they go well, the same thing.”We must continue to work. I want to keep up the excellent work and forget about what happened.”
